I've had a call today regarding my sky account

Is it normal for sky to ask for the last 2 digits of the account I pay my sky bill from

My contract is up in November so was seeing if they could get me a better deal

It was from a legit sky number. I've checked that

Sky don't normally call the customer.

They rang today but I was busy at work so they said they would ring back at a time that was best for me. Which was after 7pm. They knew when my contract was up and how much I was currently paying and the package I had.  Are they able to do anything with my name address and last 2 digits of my bank account number
