I was looking forward to upgrading to the 15 Pro Max after my contract ends in May. But I've gone to check the status today and apparently I'm not eligible for an upgrade. Why is this?

You can't upgrade once you have finished paying your current device off because once you have paid it off in full you own it so you can not return it to Sky as you can when upgrading.
You could call Sky on 150 for help in upgrading now.

I have the 12 right now. I would like to upgrade to the 15

So you will need to call Sky to see if it is possible to upgrade now.
