I've downloaded the Sky Go app for windows from one of the Sky sites. On the face of it, it's worked. I've got a brand new desktop icon and when I click on it, it takes me to all the usual Sky options. However, it doesn't seem to be an actual app and I can't for the life of me find anywhere to login with my email and password. When I click on a programme or whatever, I just get the "you need a Sky subscription " error code.
Should I try to download the app again or what ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave you gone to the settings section on it then the sign in option should be right at the bottom on the left I believe.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I tried that but there was only a sign out option. Anyway, after I got your suggestion, I signed out then signed back in again and it seems to be working OK for now.
