Email hacked

My e mail system has been hacked and a scam begging e mail sent to all contacts. All my contacts and saved emails have been deleted, I've logged a call with Yahoo to get these reinstated. I've changed my password and can log into my Sky account but not my Yahoo email. Yahoo asks me to log in, I enter my email address but don't get an opportunity to enter my password, it seems to go to a verification screen which says that an 8 digit code has been emailed to me, great, problem is I can't get into my email to read/use it. Been on the phone to Sky for 4 hours no resolution they said wait 7 days !

Are you using the Yahoo Mail app? Can you log in here: https://www.sky.com/signin/email ?

Re: Email hacked

Hi Mark, no can't get in with that link, it takes me to the verification page. I've also tried using the app. I normally just go in through the Sky website.

I would have thought the verification email would go to the other email address that you should have on your account here:

https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details

If you can log in here: https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details, check the alternate rmail address is one you can access, and create a new security question.

Then use the edit password link to see if you can create a new password, using one of the previous options.

Re: Email hacked

The alternate email address is  an @outlook. one don't think I've ever used that or have login details!

Re: Email hacked

I can see that I'm able to edit the password for that outlook email address I'm going to give that a shot.

Yes, but you can change it to an email address you can access.

Re: Email hacked

Locked out of sky.com yet again after successfully using my 4th new password previously. I contacted Sky and it looks like the hacker is changing my password. Now using my gmail and another new password, fingers crossed.
