Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@ollythorp & @Kirsty-Lamb the recommended way to connect devices that dont like the dualband SSID the new Wifi Max hub uses is using the My Sky app temporarily turn off the 5GHz wifi band, check the app the IOT devices use is still connected then connect the devices. After they are connected re-enablecthe 5GHz band and the devices should remain connected.

Turning off the 5GHz band permanently will greatly reduce the wifi speed of the hub can supply for your newer devices.

Hi, I have completed these steps and once I click 'apply' a connection lost page comes up and then a page not found once it's refreshed. Where do I go from here?

This worked for me.

I found it useful just to add 2.4GHz to the name of the router to differentiate it from the 5GHz
