When Netflix programs reach the credits, can't use remote buttons to control Netflix (on Sky Puck)

Weird, frustrating bug. 

 

When a Netflix program gets to the end credits, the remote buttons stop working in that I can't control Netflix any more - can't pause or rewind or go back to the menu.

 

I CAN exit Nexflix and get back to the Sky home screen, but if I go back to Netflix app it's still playing the credits and I still can't do anything.

 

Anyone else experiencing this?!

Edit just seen that you are using a Sky Puck and so I will move your post tomSky Stream/

Dont know if the Netflix menu is the same on Stream .


Certainly haven't seen this before.

Try reloading Netflix on your Q box.

To do this open Netflix and go to left hand menu.    Scroll down to the bottom and then scroll right and select Get help.

On the next screen there is an option to reload Netflix.

 

Whenever exiting Netflix best to use the Exit Netflix at the bottom of the menu (next to Get help mentioned above)

If you haven't already I'd suggest trying an app refresh. It's very possible you don't have the latest version of the app or the Netflix app has corrupted in some wierd way.

 

  1. Press Home on your Sky remote, then highlight Settings
  2. Press System management then Resets and updates and finally Refresh apps.
  3. You'll see a message that says, 'Your apps are being refreshed'.
  4. Press Dismiss to return to normal viewing.

The refresh can take 24 hours to complete.

Thanks guys, but no joy. I've tried app refreshes and de-powering etc to no effect.

 

Current build version QS022.009.00P and Netflix version 5.22.1.53

 

No idea if those are most recent or not!
