Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@LauraSell89 Unfortunately not. I once had a remote where the batteries only lasted a couple of weeks and Sky replaced it for me. What you are experiencing is not normal so try requesting a replacement at Streaming TV replacement remote (You will need to sign into your MySky account).
My remote told me to change batteries about 10 days ago but instead of changing them I re-paired the remote and it is still working with the old batteries. Give it a try you never know it might give you some additional time. Also if you have a Sky Q remote tucked away in a drawer this works fine with Glass/stream.

Thank you for taking time to reply. I'll look into replacing the remote to see if it makes a difference.
