Loads of pixelation issues on TNT sports just now at 17.45

I was told this morning to plug in an Ethernet cable from from router to the sky puck - seems to have fixed issues (for now)!

My Puc is hard wired, always has been.
still have the issues.
I'm getting a black screen more than ever now! Happens after about 30 minutes of pixelating.

@Uniform576 Same as for me. There are too many short term suggestions. What we need is a long term fix from Sky or whoever is responsible and it's not the customer or the ISP

Totally agree👍

I didn't notice any issues on Main Event UHD or F1 UHD over the weekend. But did see plenty of pixelation/glitches on Sky Sports Mix HD last night
Hope whatever they did for the two UHD channels gets rolled out to the others soon

I've seen pixelisation on Sky News tonight

@MohsinAwan Hi there
Thanks once again for the work around, going from Discovery+ to other channel guide programmes. It's still working just fine.
I was interested in your conversation with @squareeyeschris.
I can't remember if it was you that mentioned on this thread, that Now TV have the same Pixelation issues as Sky Stream?
You mentioned EETV as an alternative, but don't they have the same issues with their Sky channels? Or, are they Broadcast differently to EETV? I don't do the sports channels, so this may be an option.🤔

Thanks for the info @MohsinAwan
Would I have to use the same 'Workaround' as I do on the Puc, when using Now TV or EETV?
Not 100% sure, but don't you have to be subscribed to EE Broadband to use their EETV?

Forgot to mention...I actually do have an Apple TV 4K.

@Uniform576 So now TV is just an app so you wouldn't have this issue there . EETV give you the option of apple tv 4k box with the EETV app or their EETV pro box 4k with now TV in their EPG and on demand content , highly doubt if you'd have this issue there either . With EETV though you do need EE broadband too.

@Uniform576 now TV doesn't do terrestrial channels either you know Freeview channels. With EETV you'd get all the Freeview channels too

@Uniform576 You can actually download the now TV app and open it and actually roam around in the app without signing up to see what content they offer etc , how their apps platform is

I have not had any pixelation issues with the Now app since I started using it a couple of weeks ago.
EE sounds interesting. I didn't know it carried any of the Sky channels
