Hi.
i had sky stream a few years back in my name, but had to cancel for personal reasons. I left with clear balance nothing owing etc.
my mother is wanting to order in her name, but cant because it still sees my account at the same address (cancelled over 22 months ago) - confirmed by entering first 2 digits of my bank account.
how can i get the prior account unlinked from the postal address? this should have been unlinked when it was cancelled.
to reconfirm, this is a postal address, not an email address, issue.
thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@NE85 If you're using your original email address it will still be linked you your old account regardless of it being closed.
Your mother in law needs to setup under a different email address not using yours.
If you want to use the same email address then you need to remove it from the old account first as this will then free it up allowing it to be used when setting your new ID up. You can do this by logging into the old account here:
https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details
Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:

You seem to use this reply a lot, as I stated it's not an email issue - she cant even get that far to create an account as it comes up with this message before then. It's an account linked to the POSTAL address that should not be.
