Re: Sound stutter on main event

I'm getting the same problem, sound cutting out every 30 seconds or so on channel 401. Had it a six months ago and it went away but it's started up again a week or so ago. Can rewind a couple of seconds to resolve it but it's hardly a satisfactory solution.

Re: Sound stutter on main event

Found out if I change sound on Sony TV from Dolby atmos to sport/standard then the problem of sound stutter stops on UHD.

only happens with Dolby sound, so has to be an issue with Sky as UHD 401 is only channel it happens on.

COME ON SKY  WHAT YOU DOING TO FIX IT

Re: Sound stutter on main event

Thanks mate, I've now changed my settings to normal sound. Will test it again on DOLBY next week to see if they have resolved it.

Re: Sound dropping on UHD on sky q

Have the same issue so clearly some update they have done as didn't have any issues a few months ago.

Re: Sound stutter on main event

Same issue for me on channel 401. Sound cuts out for a second and keeps happening. Will someone from Sky please sort this out.

Re: Sound stutter on main event

Yep this is STILL happening.

Only happens on main event which is really odd. If you watch on the actual channel, 402 or 403 say, and select UHD it is fine. So on that basis it doesn't really matter as main event is a bit pointless anyway. But that's not really the point. It shouldn't happen at all and it has been weeks and it's still broken.

And why hasn't a sky community manager  commented

Re: Split second sound drop out

I've been having the same issue on Sky Sports Main Event (ch 401) for the last week or so. Seems really bad at times. All other sources ok and if I select UHD on ch 402 it doesn't seem to do it. Have reset the box and nothing seems to help. Any ideas?

Re: Split second sound drop out

I've been having this same problem for a little while. Currently watching the Coventry game on 401 and it's happening a lot. I've an HDR compatible 1gb box. Tried all audio settings incase it was just on Dolby digital plus but is happening with "normal" as well. Let's hope for a resolution.
