Sky q remote keeps saying low battery, even after replacing with new ones

As above... the remote stops working with the new batteries after a couple of minutes. Never had an issue with it before today, any suggestions????

You sure they were new?

 

Maybe the remote is faulty.

Thanks. The batteries are new, I tried loads from a new box. 
It must be the remote that's got a fault. I'll try to source a replacement

Think the troubleshooter on sky.com ends with a way to request a replacement.

Yep I've oredered a replacement as the trouble shooting didn't work !!!

I am having this same problem despite having a new remote.

 

I did read somewhere that batteries from Amazon are not all they seem and as I bought mine from there just wondering?
