Hi. I have just resubscribed to sky and received a new box. However, no viewing card was sent which I have now requested. I thought though that I would still start to set the box up, but after I have selected the home button as per the guide, it comes up with an accessibility screen which I cannot move off as the control is not responding to either option. Advisor on phi e said this would be resolved when I inserted the viewing card which could take up to a week to arrive. Does anyone know if the is actually accurate as I don't then want to wait another week for an engineer? Thanks

Hi @MA81
Reset your mini remote by pressing and holding 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
This will set it to infrared which will work all Q boxes. However the remote must be pointed directly at the mini box.
Switch your mini box back on and you then you should be able to get the accessible screen
Once you get the mini working make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.
