Sky Q causing LG CX to switch off and then gets stuck in reboot loop

Hi. So for the past 2 days I've had an issue between sky q and my LG CX tv. It seems that after ~20 minutes of Sky playing, it will freeze for 3 or 4 seconds followed by the TV turning completely off (click sound that the LG does, red light on).

 

It then comes back on showing the frozen sky picture and repeats the reboot loop over and over. Any controller buttons for both TV and sky controllers are unresponsive at this stage. 

I've troubleshooted by plugging the PS5 into the same HDMI port and no issues. I've also played Netflix directly through the TV as opposed to through sky q and that works fine.

 

I've tried a different hdmi lead between Sky and tv, and used a different plug socket for Sky and tv. Still getting the same issue. Ive put Sky q in another hdmi port in the tv too. Software updates carried out on both TV AND SkyQ. 

My SkyQ/LG CX combo has been fine for 2.5 years and this is the first time I've encountered this problem. 

Any ideas? I am putting it down to a Sky q box issue, but wondering if I've missed anything obvious to try - I have family bringing over there SkyQ box later today to try on my TV.

I've escalated because it sounds like a failing box. Look out for a blue xhat bubble.

So I've tried another sky box from a family member and the same issue has just happened after 10 minutes of viewing. So it isn't sky box related - maybe connection related? Cables etc. 

 

Very strange as we seem to get no issues when sky is unplugged.
