An important note for Discovery+ Premium subscribers through BT/EE or other third parties I feel.

@Deggy in that case you need to take your frustrations out on the people who are giving you the information
the only information that sky has publicly released is that "it's coming soon" as per the link below

Please forgive my ignorance here but if you have signed up via EE surely they should be making you aware of the other ways you can receive Discovery+ Premium until it is available via Sky.
As the Discovery+ people themselves are aware of the reason (app still in final testing for Sky) I'd question them as to why they haven't divulged this to you, it's not like it's a secret or anything.
No @Zoe+Bambridge Sky aren't up to any funny business. Discovery has already announced a while back that the full Discovery+ Premium app experience is still a work in progress for the Sky platform. Better to have it working correctly before rolling it out to us here.
a very valid point indeed, especially on reading EE's own pages where they explicitly mention EE app access seperately from Sky app access.

Yes I eventually found out from the discovery plus people that sky are updating their discovery plus app soon. But obviously I don't know what soon means.

It's September 4th and nothing seems to have changed on my discovery app via Sky Glass.

Like I said before @SHOTS you can't believe everything you hear from a CS rep

Still think you are going to be disappointed.
I believe the post by @Chloe-W22 (and stuff I have read elsewhere), suggests that access to TNT Sports live streams via the Discovery+ app on any Sky platform will only be available to those who subscribe through Sky.
You have already stated you subscribe through EE so should be using one of the many other ways to get TNT Sports via Discovery+. I subscribe through BT and watch on Apple TV.
To be honest, I'm still not sure I understand why anyone needs access to the TNT Sports live streams through the app if you subscribe via Sky, as they will be in your TV Guide?
Bonus streams and catch up I get, but if you want to watch live, just tune in!

@stereohaven I'm of the same opinion

My issue here is that I'm on sky stream so my tv and sky puck are connected via wifi.
My puck and sky tv have absolutely no issue with wifi and my tv never buffers when watching live sport.
I subscribe to TNT sports through EE and therefore currently have to access the Discovery+ app through my smart TV app (not the sky puck) however the connection is poor & live sport buffers too much - essentially unable to watch.
For some unknown reason when I sign in to Discovery+ app through the sky puck it removes TNT sports channels. I'd imagine this is what they are attempting to fix.
Sky help desk have advised that eventually I'll be able to access the Discovery+ app (includkng my EE subscription) though the sky puck but in the meantime they can't help with my poor wifi signal on my smart TV.
I'd have thought that this would have all been sorted prior to the football season, champions league football is just around the corner and a lot of users can't currently watch their subscription how they would like to.

Hi XXXXX ,
Thanks for your response.
I am sorry for the delay, based on the original date given.
Tech teams are working to resolve this and it should be available imminently.
Please feel free to check back next week if still not in place, to see if we have any update for you.
In the meantime, if there's anything else I can assist with, please do not hesitate to contact me again.
Kind regards,

@SKY1992bf I don't agree with this presumption. I think that TNT sports will be available through discovery plus app on sky, with those with the correct permissions on their account, no matter how they obtain TNT plus

@Jason+Golding you don't have to agree and there's no right or wrong answer here, everyone is entitled to their own opinion on how they interpret the information that's in the public domain based on how the information is worded
no individual other than sky knows the official answer whatever that maybe until such time it launches

So far so good.

This has been reported quite a bit, I even get it on the HD feeds via Apple TV, although the UHD feed is much more solid weirdly.
The app via my LG TV has similar issues, but these are all problems the Discovery+ app teams need to resolve rather than Sky.
@DG5 wrote:For some unknown reason when I sign in to Discovery+ app through the sky puck it removes TNT sports channels. I'd imagine this is what they are attempting to fix.
It isn't an unknown reason and it isn't broken, the current app via Sky platforms only supports the "Standard" tier (previously known as 'Entertainment & Sport'), which is entertainment channels and Eurosport.
The TNT Sports channels are only available with the "Premium" tier. That tier is not yet available through the Discovery+ app on Sky.
So the question is why?
If you are Sky, are you in a rush to make TNT Sports available through an app on your platform when:
So I reiterate, until someone offically states here otherwise, I do not believe you will be able to access TNT Sport via the Discovery+ app on a Sky platform unless you pay Sky for it.
This is a commerical decision, not a technical one.

I hope you got that in writing.
