New tech take years to properly refine. 2 years into Sky Glass, I would say perhaps Sky are therefore half way through this phase of getting the technology up to scratch. If they aren't sorted and refined within the next 18-24 months then yes I think Sky has some problems.
look at smartphones the first couple of generations of them had issues, I don't think it was really until the 3rd or 4th generation of iPhone that that brand particularly kicked off.
