recorded start times why show end of previous show and adverts then endings would not be missstarts

I know we have to have the adverts but we don"t want to see end of previous ending of Emerdale or such,  just the  adverts would be sufficient to completeany recorded programme

I've moved your post from the Accessibility board. What TV platform do you subscribe to? What's wrong with fast forwarding for those couple of minutes?

This is probably a bit nerdy, but it's what I do every morning. I select any recordings from the previous day & fast-forward until I get to the bit of the show I want to start watching from. So I bypass the end of what was on before my show, bypass the ads, and, if necessary, bypass the waffle you get at the beginning of shows telling you what you're about to see. That way, when I come to watch the show at a later time or day, it's ready to go. It only takes a couple of minutes to sort out.

I've got a feeling I'm the only one who does this, but maybe I'm wrong, does anyone else use this method?
