Because TNT Sports have the rights ( in conjunction with Amazon who get first pick of Tuesday games).

Realistically no provider will be able to afford the majority of PL games along with the champions league.

Re: Y no champions leage

I don't really care for who has got which night and what they can afford Mr super user, I pay for sports and I can't watch champions league, it is just manipulation so I pay for multiple subscriptions and they can all pretend they are the best, no wonder people use stream sites to watch anyway [Removed]

@Darren_74  Sky haven't had rights to the champions league since 2013 so it shouldn't come as a shock

the days of a single broadcaster buying up all rights are long gone

Well, yes:  manipulation by the rights owners (the clubs themselves and the organisers of the competitions in which they play) to maximise income from television auctions by making platforms compete with each other.

Perhaps you hadn't noticed that for about the last forty years football has been a serious commercial enterprise with some intermittent sporting activities attached?

I tend to agree: which players do you suggest get a 99% salary reduction so that their clubs can afford to give up their television income and let everyone watch without paying?

Re: Y no champions leage

Only Manchester United players as they are terrible, I'll just go the pub and watch football and spend my money on beer, AHA now there's a plan.

With the price of pints nowadays it may be cheaper to just pay the monthly cost for sports channel ( obviously depending on how many games one would go to the pub to watch).
