I am enquiring as to whether Whitstable Pearl season 3 is due to be shown on Sky U&Drama channel ?
Apparently it is currently being shown from 21October 2024 - 25 November 2024 - on Acorn TV rather than a Sky channel
It is a brilliant series and I just hope that it is not lost forever ??
ie) Please can it be shown on Sky ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe U& channels are not Sky channels. You would be better asking the channel directly if they plan to show it.

Sky channels tend to have the word Sky in the name. U& channels are available via Freeview, so you don't pay anything for them.

They can't take responsibilty for a channel they don't own a UKTV is a BBC TV company:

Sky is responsible for delivery of the broadcasts ... while the broadcaster is responsible for what is broadcast😉
It is very easy to find out which broadcaster is responsible for which channel🤔

Strictly speaking, BBC Studios rather than 'the BBC' so that License Fee funding doesn't apply and the channels with 'U' branding can carry commercial advertising.
