Re: What's your must watched shows? 📺
@lettice Nice to see another Cheers fan on here. It is my all-time favourite sitcom, consistently very funny with great writing for great characters. I have the complete DVD box set & have seen the series numerous times & could easily watch it again. Not sure if you're aware, but on Amazon, they do Life magazine large format paperbacks on a variety of things for around £10.99, and there is one about Cheers. Search on Amazon for Life magazine Cheers.

on Netflix I enjoyed The Diplomat, 3 Body Problem (the series not the movie), and of course Better Call Saul (but it's quite a commitment as you really need to watch several years of Breaking Bad before moving on to BCS)
@mike+simmonds And I would say that making that commitment would be a valuable use of your time, being that Breaking Bad is the best show on TV ever.
Agree with Breaking Bad, that's definitely right up there in the best Drama's along with The Sopranos and The Wire.

Re: What's your must watched shows? 📺
I said I would think of some others, and I have. This one I really should have put in my first post, as it is probably my second favourite TV show of all time, it is The Marvelous Mrs Maisel. From the creators Amy Sherman-Palladino & Daniel Palladino, who gave us Gilmore Girls, this is a brilliant comedy-drama with superb writing, a fantastic ensemble cast, and a standout, barnstorming performance from Rachel Brosnahan. It also looks amazing in UHD.
I was going to mention The Sopranos, but someone else has, so I will add another show to the must-watch list that starred The Sopranos' Edie Falco, and that is Nurse Jackie.
Here's one that I don't think has been mentioned yet, surprisingly, Succession. Whilst I may not have understood everything that was going on it business-wise, it was still a terrific show.
Another show from the US that I would add is Shameless ( I never saw the original UK version ). If you think the Simpsons are dysfunctional, you should see the Gallaghers. So many episodes were quite jaw-dropping.
I will finish off my particular must-watch list now with a few more shows: Curb Your Enthusiasm, Fargo, Six Feet Under, Peaky Blinders, The Shield, and anything with Alan Partridge.

Re: What's your must watched shows? 📺
In and amongst my 1400 hours of Forza Horizon games plus other games my favourite 'shows' to watch have been recent rewatches of the Sopranos, the Wire, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Band of Brothers and The Pacific. Also the White Lotus (love the Thailand one as I used to live there), Succession, Fargo, Mad Men, Sons of Anarchy & Mayans. Plus sports and history documentary. (and im sure many more)
Where do i find the time 😂

@KevNewMedia, First, thanks for this thread; it makes a nice change. Second, I know what you mean about the YouTube rabbit hole. They are very clever at keeping you watching what you didn't know you wanted to watch. It's so easy to have a few hours fly by as you watch your 25th video in a row.

Nothing too exciting here. Haven't watched Gangs of London or Game of Thrones (yes, I'm the one), but we do watch 24 hours in A&E and for some reason we always seem to watch it when we sit down to eat!
Particular favourites here were the recently cancelled Blue Bloods (although I do think it had probably run its course), the Chicago's, the FBI's, and Hudson & Rex. My wife is a big Emmerdale fan but that's the only soap watched here. We also enjoyed;
The Day of The Jackal
A League Of Their Own
Motorway Cops (and the other spin offs).
Bradley & Barney Breaking Dad
Beyond Paradise etc
They are the ones that spring to mind now and when others give their views I'll probably wonder why I forgot those.
Edited to add: Line Of Duty
There you go, so much on that I forgot about Day of the Jackal and A League Of Their Own! I'm not too fussed for the spin offs of ALOTO @Daniel0210

The latest ALOTO The Rally was okay but I agree about the others. Much prefer the studio episodes.

We used to watch Big brother when it was first on in the 2000's on channel 4 but rarely watch it no maybe its just we have got older 😀
There are a number of programmes I like/watched and looking forward to the new series of Doctor Who im intriguied to see where it goes this year (if believing some of the reports this may be the last season for a while)
other programmes tha we watch/like
The Apprentice
Beyond Paradise
24 Hours in A&E
Game of Thones (not seen house of the dragon yet)
I'd really like to see another series of 24 I loved that programme. Like to see some closure for Jack Bauer getting out of the russian prison and getting back to America and being honoured for what he has done for his country but doubt that will ever happen.
I used to like the Apprentice, however lately it makes me cringe and uncomfortable. 24 was excellent. I'm sure we've got the boxset but haven't gone back to it. It would be good to bring a more up-to-date version of 24 for the way things are just now @Laing1

Yep, YouTube's algorithm clearly works @Mr+Ripley . I've found it tends to day/time stamp stuff and offers up a similar programme for the previous week's day ie Saturday at 8pm will show very similar content on the next Saturday at that time. I keep subscribing to channels and have at the back of mind, that I must remove some of them, but that'd take quite some time 😋

Re: What's your must watched shows? 📺
@lettice According to the Geektown website, there is a strong rumour that the Chicagos will be back early May (about time, love those shows)
I also love the FBI series too. I watch a lot of crime based drama shows like The Rookie, The Equalizer, Will Trent in Disney + as well as NCIS, and Tracker. I also really loved High Potential. I also hugely enjoyed Alibi Channel showing White Collar- that show ended over 10 years ago but hasn't aged a minute.
I'm also a big fan of true crime, and enjoy On The Case With Paula Zahn, People Magazine Investigates, any cold case based series, Bloodline Detectives etc.
Also enjoy anything Marvel based, having just watched the first series of Daredevil Born Again.

Thanks for those other recommendations.
Will be re subbing to Disney+ soon for a couple of months, mainly for Star Wars Andor new series, but will check those out too.
Have added White Collar to my Sky Stream playlist, looks good and six series to watch...
