What's your must watched shows? 📺

Hi Everyone!

I'm curious to know what TV shows you absolutely can't miss. Whether it's a gripping drama, a hilarious comedy, an interesting documentary, or a thrilling reality show, I want to hear about people's favourites are! There are no rules here, so they don't have to be just Sky content, all TV is welcome 😁

I'll start with some shows that are on my Playlist (there's no judging here 🙂)...

• Celebrity Big Brother has started back up again! We've watch Big Brother since it started and when it was axed, it left a big hole, when it comes to reality TV. I've just released that we may be actually reality TV fans, as we watch The Challenge on MTV and the Traitors on the BBC 😄

• Gangs of London has been back on our screens for a good few weeks. We've watched half of the episodes and have still to finish them. I've not read the books, so I'm not sure how close any of the stories are, however the drama and gore, had us binge the first 4.

• 24 hours in A&E. I was never good at biology, so I'm learning (and off course seeing with some of the gore) every time a new series starts.

• When it comes to documentary's, I tend to go down rabbit holes and end up watching something completely different to what I started off with. YouTube is a definite enabler for me, with this!

I see ITVX have acquired the rights to all series of LOST. 

If anyone didn't watch this originally, I'd say it's a must.

Nothing too exciting here. Haven't watched Gangs of London or Game of Thrones (yes, I'm the one), but we do watch 24 hours in A&E and for some reason we always seem to watch it when we sit down to eat! 

Particular favourites here were the recently cancelled Blue Bloods (although I do think it had probably run its course), the Chicago's, the FBI's, and Hudson & Rex. My wife is a big Emmerdale fan but that's the only soap watched here. We also enjoyed;

The Day of The Jackal

A League Of Their Own

Motorway Cops (and the other spin offs).

Bradley & Barney Breaking Dad

Beyond Paradise etc

They are the ones that spring to mind now and when others give their views I'll probably wonder why I forgot those.

I remember absolutely loving Lost but in my opinion the show lost ( pun intended) it's way completely after a couple of seasons,

Anyone who has an Apple TV + subscription, Slow Horses is a must watch.

and for those who like something complex and different- also on Apple TV is Severance

on Netflix I enjoyed The Diplomat, 3 Body Problem (the series not the movie), and of course Better Call Saul (but it's quite a commitment as you really need to watch several years of Breaking Bad before moving on to BCS)

It started off well and enjoyed the first few series.

Never watched the last three series.

Might give it a go again. Yes, did see it was available again.

Can't though believe that was tepwenty years ago...

Do just love anything Sci-fi, so will be catching with next series of Andor later this month on Disney+.

Roll on summer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds S3

Be honest with so much new sci-fi and my other favourite genre of Westerns, feel I'm really spoiled for choice these days with new and and so much classic sci-fi and western tv series and films across the channels and apps.

Enjoying 1923, despite the P+ ads.

1883 was just superb along with Yellowstone from Taylor Sheridan.

More from his camp, was Landman, a brilliant kind of reboot of Dallas.

Waiting for the three FBIs coming to Sky soon, along with Rookie.

And the Chicago PD looking like returning in Autumn.

Loved anything around GoT,  so whenever we get more prequels or sequels to that, I'll be there.

Things I rewatched last few years and enjoyed just as much;

Rookie blue, all seasons on Pluto.

Plus GoT, for I think at least now the sixth time form Season 1.

Id love to rewatch Shades of Blue with Jennifer Lopez, Ray Liotta and Warren Kole, a great cast.

Yes, I think it had.

There is a spin-off coming in autumn, Boston Blue.

We used to watch Big brother when it was first on in the 2000's on channel 4 but rarely watch it no maybe its just we have got older 😀 

There are a number of programmes I like/watched and looking forward to  the new series of Doctor Who im intriguied  to see where it goes this year (if believing some of the reports this may be the last season for a while)

I'd really like to see another series of 24 I loved that programme. Like to see some closure for Jack Bauer getting out of the russian prison and getting back to America and being honoured for what he has done for his country but doubt that will ever happen.
