@Baguar

I presume you mean cricket which is channel 404 with a Sky Sports subscription. I don't think I've ever seen sailing on a Sky Sports channel.

The Ocean Race earlier in the year was on Eurosport

From what i can see, America Cup Challenger series is on eurosport/discovery plus and youth Americas Cup is on discovery plus

Eurosport is available on sky signature (the basic package).

Discovery plus can either be subscribed separately (with the less expensive sports, not the premium sports) separately or it is available at no extra cost to sky q, stream, glass customers

Re: What channels do i need for sailing and crick

Thanks Daniel.

The crick in my previous message is cricket.

I presume all cricket is on Basic sky sports and I can pay extra for sailing if it's not on basic sky sports.

@Baguar  There is no basic or premium Sky Sports, you either subscribe to Sky sports to get all Sky sport branded channels or you don't and you get None.  If it's cricket you want you need to subscribe to Sky Sports which is an additional cost,  you will need the basic TV pack before you can add Sports or Movies.

Eurosport is not a Sky channel it is owned by Disney.   Europsport 1 & 2 are on the basic Channels package by default as they have always been available this way.

Additional Eurosport content is on Discovery+ as per @nolte reply.

@Baguar

Sky Sports does not hold any broadcast rights for competitive sailing.

I'd observe there appears to be at least one prominent YouTube channel dedicated to this sector.

It depends exactly what you want to watch in terms of cricket.

Some cricket rights sit with Sky, others sit with TNT Sports

Sky Stream, Sky Glass Air and Sky Broadband customer

@Baguar

Sky used to broadcast sailing but haven't done so for a couple of years now.

It all depends on what events you're after as to where to point you. In isolation, "sailing" is pretty vague. If somebody asked where to watch "football", it would be much more useful to know what competition(s) in particular were being sought.

America's Cup is available via Discovery+ and TNT Sports;

SailGP was available via ITVX, ITV1 and ITV4 last season. No confirmation yet as to whether they'll be showing the forthcoming season that commences in November.
