@david5001 Only a couple of sports channels are in UHD, everything else is obtained from On demand.

Essentially there isn't enough native material available to have a dedicated general entertainment channel in UHD. Virgin chooses to offer one by bundling together a really disparate (and rather random) selection of content.

Huh? There's more than enough UHD/HDR content to have a dedicated general entertainment channel carved out from Sky's current rights portfolio.
It's just not worth the extra capacity/bandwidth when that same content can be accessed within seconds via on-demand.
