Re: Watching LIVE Sports - SO expensive.

In my days test matches and Benson and hedges cricket was required watching. But was totally free under the licence fee, but I'm denied watching most cricket matches, caw bbc don't show sports anymore. I love the 100 cricket, especially woman's 100. But I can't afford it even on NOWTV. As pensioner just don't have £34.99a month to spare and pay a licence fee at same time. It's totally unfair. On UK pension rate

Unfortunately that's the choice of the owners of those sports: I suspect they'd argue that at least these days elite athletes are being paid more than bus fare and all the free cigarettes they can smoke...

Agreed i only Watch F1, otherwise the telly isn't even turned on in between, its scandalous how much I'm paying, and being on disability it has now got to the point where I can no longer afford it, tried to cancel once but the call center is an absolute joke and they should be discussed to run an operation like that.

I will try again today health dependant

You should speak to sky because if you are on benefits they do offer reduced prices in some instances.Worth a call.

@Oddie2004 Sky do not offer any reduced prices on TV package for those on benefits, they only offer that on broadband via the social tariff.

@Allymungus
To cancel all your TV subscription, if you’re out of contract you’ll need to give Sky the required 31 days notice. The latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you can’t cancel when still in a minimum term deal unless Sky agree. If they agree you’ll have to pay the remainder of your discounted term.
