There's no separate Sky Sports+ app for Sky Q. Instead, Sky Sports+ is integrated into the existing Sky Sports service.

On Sky Q, one will find a dedicated Sky Sports+ linear channel — channel 412 in the UK and 416 in Ireland.

For most of the Sky Sports+ content, especially extra matches (like during the EFL), one can press the Red Button while watching a Sky Sports channel (excluding Sky Sports News, Mix and Racing) — giving access to up to 100 additional streams when available, which are also found in the Sports menu.

One can also watch Sky Sports+ content via the Sky Go app or the Sky Sports app on compatible devices (with the Sky Sports subscription)

You may be confusing Sky Q for Sky Glass or Sky Stream in this instance. On Sky Glass and Sky Stream, there is a Netflix-style interface with tiles similar to an app, but Sky Q has access the same content via the Red Button or the Sports menu.

Additionally, one cannot add or remove apps on Sky Q, Sky Glass or Sky Stream, Sky controls what apps are available.

@DAWN+SLINGER the app is called the Sky Sports app and not Sky Sports + (just another odd Sky naming thing to confused people).

There is a Sky Sports + TV channel and Sky Sports + bonus streams which are available to watch via the Sky Sports app when the bonus streams are live ( or by press the red button when on the Sky Sports channel). The bonus streams are only available to watch via the app not via Sky Go so can only be watched on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, Sky Q or the Sky Sports app on a mobile or tablet device.

There was a couple a things that were incorrect or perhaps not fully explained so were open to some interpretation in your response.

"There is a Sky Sports + TV channel and Sky Sports + bonus streams which are available to watch via the Sky Sports app when the bonus streams are live ( or by press the red button when on the Sky Sports channel)"

This is incorrect. One cannot only access the Sky Sports+ streams on Sky Sports News, Sky Sports Mix or Sky Sports Racing as these are on the Entertainment pack.

I never claimed live Sky Sports+ streams are available on Sky Go. However, when the event is over, it is available to download and watch on Sky Go.

See my note below regarding the SKY Sports app on Q

For clarity the red button from various Sports channels  on SKY Q  now just lauches the SKY Sports app that can also be accessed directly from the app menu or from the 'Pinned' apps from the (...) button  (or may occasionaly switch to another Satellite channel but this is now more rare than launching the app)

@DAWN+SLINGER

if the SKY Sports app is not available then Chances are that the software & apps are not fully up to date :

To check & refresh if needed follow all the steps on this link (skipping any that are OK):

Please note that the step to refresh apps often does not action immediately and may take several hours before it does

Ok, I tried it on the Sky Sports channels, Red Button does not work on Sky Sports News or Sky Sports Mix. Sky Sports Racing has its own red button service where the live Racing is shown in the top right with info boxes around it.

However, the Sky Sports app launched on the other Sky Sports channels.

This happens on both HD and SD.

I don't know if it's different in the UK, but this is the Ireland version.

Yes, I thought the first reply was from @Annie+UK who normally asks what system one is using and I skimmed over the message. I posted my reply before I read it. I apologise for that.
