Unable to view Disney Plus through Sky tv

After being passed between Disney and Sky, each asking for the same steps to be tried without success, Sky are now placing blame on the servers....since Disney became active 5 days ago, i am still unable to view it.

@UnhappyDaffodil For the community to be able to offer suggestions, we are going to need more information. What exactly is happening? What steps have you tried already?

..The steps were to:  a) turn off & on sky box   b) enter a sequence of numbers then press select button   c) find the IP4v address   d) click on Disney app and enter email address   e) click on the activate Disney plus pane on Sky tv   f) go to settings, then sky markeplace, then Disney plus.   All steps undertaken led to same outcome - a blank screen.

 

Sky said fault laid with Disney plus,  Disney plus said the problem laid with Sky.  Sky then said there was a problem with the servers and to wait til Monday....lo & behold still no remedy.

+1 on this. Disney app wouldn't open from about a week prior to the connection. Assumed it was an issue with the onboarding. Now it's connected, still won't open. Just cycles the loading circle for ages and then says "Sorry, this app is unavailable right now.". Have tried all the basic steps listed of refreshing apps and the 'hidden menu' but no joy.

Sky sent me a,text to say i am now able to view Disney + free of charge with my existing package,but i can't access it

Two months on several chats with Disney and Sky on the phone email and web chats, re not being able to access Disney via Sky.  Fisney today wanting a 16 digit code Sky telling me there is no such thing just a customer ID, apparently emails might not match but can't tell me which! They have cancelled the app waited 31 day to re connect still the same issue persuaded to upgrade and pay still can't access. Unplugged it reset it, logged in and out several times nothing!  Anyone any fixes please ? Complained team involved no further forward

Working with Disney and Sky, we have tried literally every Sky fix including cancelling Disney waiting the 31 days and trying again.  Disney tell me they do not have any indication I am a Sky customer and asked for a 16 digit code, Sky said no such thing and gave a Sky customer code Disney can't do anything with.  They have the idea it's something to do with Email of which I have 3 provided to both companies still no joy! Sky say I have another, not to my knowledge! But they can't tell me what it is.  So it's not technical it's a communication glitch between Sky and Disney they think.  Yes, I have tried looking at the other household members mail which is not logged so not that.  I've even paid to upgrade to premium still can't view, Skys idea to try.
