@Mr+Ripley  How can text "sound" rude,  it's a written format.   Or is my question to also rude?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

  @GD1  I think you know perfectly well what I mean. If you read your reply out loud, it sounds rude. There were better ways that you could have phrased your reply.

@Mr+Ripley I have read it out loud and it sounds fine to me, it's clear and to the point with no superfluous wordage

@Mr+Ripley

Imagine the first post was on its own on the broadband board. No one else had replied. The question from @GD1 is very reasonable.

An hour or so later the OP posts again on the What's On board and the threads are merged.

We seem to be going off topic. Unless the OP wishes to divulge the TV platform they subscribe to there's little point in continuing to speculate.

If the OP finds the post to be 'rude' they can report it to the moderator in the usual way.

  @GD1  What a rude answer. Did you not see that the OP is a Level 1 user, this may well be their first visit to this forum, & that's how they get treated? You need to rethink how you answer posts on here.

FYI, new users start at level 0

  @Annie+UK I'm not saying you're wrong about their being a Level 0, but I've checked the OP's profile & they joined this forum on May 17th 2025, 2 days ago. They have made 5 posts. So I stand by what I said about them being a newcomer to the forum, which they are. This does beg the question, what are the requirements to be at Level 0, they must be minimal?

A Level 0 user has essentially only signed up and perhaps read threads but not interactived with the forum. If a user was to create a new thread, reply to a thread or like a post that would give them enough points to be upgraded from Level 0 to Level 1.
