Wow this thread has escalated. Interesting to see so many people sharing the same concerns I have over Sky taking over tennis. Let's hope they listen to feedback and find a way to improve it for January.
Forgot to come on yesterday and say you can get the all court coverage on Sky Sports on NowTV. Had the brainwave to try it yesterday. £26 a month but no contract so can cancel anytime. So will do that when it ends lol. Sadly no playback and can't watch a match from the start if you miss the start. On the plus side no ads unless you are watching the Sky Sports Tennis or Sky Sports Action feeds.
Prime Video has spoiled us over the last few years. But let's hope Sky get their act together for the new year.

I have just subscribed to Now Sport Month at a cost of £40 a month in the belief that I would be able to watch all US Open match replays, only to find there is only one replay available. It's a disgraceful con-trick. I tried to speak to someone at Sky but it's impossible to talk to a living person. Sky used to have the best call centre of any business but now it's suddenly to worst.

Sky won't deal with Now TV customers (even though they're ultimately the same company). You will need to contact Now TV and I believe they don't have any call centres, just online chat.

Hi @Robin061178
Thanks for the info re Now TV. I wasn't sure if the bonus streams as I think they're called would be available. I have been talked into trialling Sky Stream so it will go back after US Open is over. We have been spoilt by Prime but surely they are an exemplar of how it should be done so it's not rocket science for Sky to follow suit. Discovery plus coverage is also just as good as Amazon

And now they couldn't even manage to show Norrie's match from the start....

May I raise a new issue - hope it's not been raised before and I've missed it.
I only have a Sky+HD box which does not support the choice of streams from all courts. So, wishing to watch the Norrie match, not showing on the TV Channels, I recently resorted to watching on my tablet. The stream was very stuttery. Some other streams were the same and some OK. On my phone I got exactly the same result.
When I looked again just now, the Norrie match stream was smooth but some other matches were still stuttery.
I wonder if people with Sky Glass or Sky Q, who supposedly have access to streams from all courts, are finding the same thing ?

Hi Phil. Yes I've had stuttering and pixelated streams on SkyQ as they are over the internet, not satellite.
29 Aug 2023 07:19 PM
Phil - you should in theory be able to watch all courts via the Sky sports app with a Sky+ package.
I upgraded as a Sky+ customer to a sports arena (now Sky tennis) and action package on Sunday - on the basis I could watch multi courts on the Sky sports app (where it is badged as a Sky sports arena/tennis option).
I was told when I called today - than I would need to have an all sky sports channel subscription to watch US open multi court coverage on the Sky sports app not just sky sports arena/tennis. Is that true - or was I being misled?
I have exercised my 31 day notice now to downgrade - so am stuck with just the two linear show court/Brits channels (arena and action). But am not impressed I cannot at least get multi court on the app when I have subscribed for a month to sky sports arena (aka sky sports tennis until Sunday week).

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt was the same for a while on the Norrie court feed on all the outputs - VirginMedia too.
Several courts too - VirginMedia get the service from Sky.

To Carlineb68 & ozsat
I guess the stuttering we are seeing on all platforms at our end for just some streams means that it is a problem at their end rather than a WiFi deficiency at our end. Time will tell if this is a temporary problem of an ongoing one.
To Martym890
Yes, I can get all streams on my mobile devices using Sky Sports App but Sky have prevented this being implemented on say a Firestick to watch on a big screen, both as an App or by Casting/Mirroring

I used the chat option for Now Tv and got a refund as it's almost pointless using their service if you live in UK. So disappointed with Sky/Now TV

Got the Sky sport package for a month in order to watch the US Open tennis on my new Sky Stream pucks. Never again, it is so hit and miss finding the matches you want to watch the next day. So disappointing to get advertisements when you are paying £27 and month extra for this so called service.
30 Aug 2023 05:07 PM
I am really disappointed that the US Open is now only streaming on Sky Sports after watching it on Prime for the past few years. SKY commands prices that no other steeaming service expects. £22 per month on top of the price I pay already for SKY + !?!. Also not having it on Eusrosport any more specifically so SKY can monopolise the event is infuriating when the rest of europe can still watch it on there. What an absolute rip-off. I will be cancelling my SKY subscription completely and won't be subscribing to Now TV either!
