Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreYes watched the first episode and thought much the same.
Not sure I will bother for much longer.
Just did not excite me much.
Plus, the swearing and poorly written dialogue in it is quite a turn off,

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI was waiting for a few episodes to be broadcast before i started watching it. I've always found this show a bit hit and miss. I liked Season 1 and 3, but i couldn't really get into Season 2 when that was first shown.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreWatched the recorded second episode over the weekend.
In fact was so ppor only got to about two thirds through and I thought, why am I watching this.
Often see bad acting and dialogue across differing genres of TV series these days, but this of late is certainly some of the worse..
Did not improve on the first episode, so have un series linked it

We're rather enjoying it in our household. Yes, it's a slow burn but the plot is intriguing and we have no issues with the acting. Looks & sounds superb in 4K with Dolby Vision & Atmos.

I'm getting a strange thing with the advert/sponsor breaks in this show when watching on Sky Stream from my Playlist on demand. The programme will suddenly just go black screen and then to a short sponsor type advert then resume the show for a minute only to then show the True Detective splash/poster screen briefly that you'd expect to be put up indicating an advert break and then continue the show again. Really weird sure it's only this show I've noticed it on. Anyone else notice this?
