Sky Sports comes in HD as standard.
The optional HD Pack relates to the Signature (Entertainment) channels.

This is two fold
whilst sky sports is hd as standard some customers see a separate sky sports hd subscription at a reduced rate, this is just the way Sky billing works and isn't an additional charge sky has just separated the two rather than combined them
Sky Sports mix which some of the tennis is on is part of the entertainment package and would require the entertainment hd add on too watch in HD on sky plus/Q

Just to say for info for anyone thinking of joining Tennis TV... I think it's £11.99 / month and £99.99 for 13 months. Could be £9.99/month...I might be thinking of Now's expensive Day Pass as £11.99! I joined Tennis TV on 29/12 so up to date. BUT it says all ATP matches are shown, in fact they don't show all 250s... Liam Brody in Hong Kong and Murray's doubles weren't shown. It's a real shame, Amazon Prime was brilliant

They don't show a lot of doubles, not 250,500 or 1000

Yes - sorry my mistake. Tennis tv have put their monthly price but not their annual sub up.
It was £9.99 last year - (presumably seeing how poor the replacement for Amazon prime is!!) - they have put the monthly price up to £11.99. Still 1/3 price of the alternative cheapest option. They do have a six months for £59.99 option plus £99.99 for the year.
You see the prices if you register a free account, log in and click 'get premium' on the left hand menu.

I agree tennis tv have limited doubles - mainly because they tend to be on the outside courts. But more in some events than others - they may show semis and finals more than first rounds.
Tonight they are streaming two courts from Brisbane (centre/Rafter and No 1 - but mens matches only ), 1 from Hong Kong and all the united cup ties. Next week they have 23 matches from ATP Auckland and 26 from ATP Adelaide - all on demand if you miss them.
Sky are only currently planning to show the atp Auckland and Hong Kong finals - so tennis tv will show 46 matches from those events but Sky only 2!
PS promise I am not on commission!

Get a vpn, go to Australia and watch it on 9now

@Anonymous
Australian open qualies start on Monday on Eurosport (available on the Sky platform) and Discovery+ with streaming/catch up available for only £7 for a month (i.e. all 3 weeks). So hopefully only au revoir - until Monday - for tennis and not goodbye (except to Sky!)/

You seem very knowledgeable about these things. Are there any options for watching WTA?

I ment 9now for free !

Only registered to express my disgust with Sky (overly greedy company)
A total destruction of (especially) women tennis coverage in UK
Instead of going forward we are now (after Prime gone) 5 years backwards
Sad times

Indeed, a huge backwards step compared to the coverage that was provided by Amazon Prime that allowed viewers to choose which match they wanted to watch.
Looks like Sky will be prioritising ATP matches from joint ATP/WTA tournaments (liver coverage at the moment on Main Event is an ATP match despite the fact that there are some higher profile women's matches going on). Plus Sky's TV guide shows Main Event as showing Cricket - which it isn't.
Not sure the WTA (or their sponsors) will be happy with this as, unless Sky give us the option to choose what we watch, there will be a huge reduction in the coverage of WTA tournaments this year. It is all very well for Sky to say they are covering xx WTA tournaments in 2024, but if very few of the matches can be viewed, then it is a rather misleading statement!
