Sonic 2 film, Paramount plus

Hello - Paramount + isn't showing Sonic 2, but when I search online it says it's on there. Anyone know why? The first and third films are on there also. Thanks.

Hi there - when I search online for where I can watch Sonic 2, it comes up with Paramount +. However when I look on the app, the film doesn't appear, only films 1 & 3. Thank you.

I looked at paramount plus, it doesn't seem to be there

I also checked justwatch, and it does not list it as available on paramount for either uk or roi.

It was recently broadcast on rte here, so it may at the minute be taking a break from streaming, for linear station to have rights.

If you download the just watch app on your phone, search for the film and add it to your watchlist, you will get a notification when it becomes available.

Searches outside of the paramount app will not be definitive (and often wrong).  It seems paramount do not currently have the rights for it.

Sonic 2 is currently only available to stream on Paramount+ in the USA.

If you want to watch it in the UK you can pay to rent it via one of the various streaming services. 

It's currently £3.49 to rent and is available in 4K via Rakuten or Apple. If HD will suffice you can rent it from Prime Video, YouTube or Sky Store.

As @BenJoBanjo indicates, default online search results are frequently for the US version of a streaming service (and AI tends to pick up the same information and report it without identifying a particular region)

I was looking for the same but it appears it is only available to rent on other platforms which is a shame given Paramount make the Sonic movies.

When you search "Is Paramount+ showing Sonic 2?". The search results may say it's there. Paramount+ is available:

As a streaming service:
Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, German-speaking Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latin America, United Kingdom, and United States (except for Puerto Rico)

Through third-party distributors:
Baltics, Caribbean, India, French-speaking Switzerland, Greece, Middle East, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand, and Ukraine

Through SkyShowtime:
Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, Netherlands, Nordics, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain

And in one or many of these regions, Sonic 2 may be available. However, if you go to the app on Sky, your tablet/phone or via the website, Sonic 2 is not present.

Where exactly are you searching? 

A random Google search can never be guaranteed to give you a correct result. A guide, yes, but for confirmation you need to look at Paramount+ itself, which, as your screenshot proves, does not have Sonic 2 in the UK. 

You'll need to ask Paramount+ why they don't currently have the streaming rights to one of their own movies because it's nothing to do with Sky.

This is why I was confused given it is a Paramount made movie. 

Strangely, when you voice search Sonic The Hedgehog 2, the result shows it on Paramount + but when you click on that and it takes to said service, you get an error message. 

Will just have to wait until it is back.

I had this issue. Randomly.....

click on sky store on sonic 3

click on more like this

click on sonic 2

scroll to play now

it opens up on paramount plus

if you do it any other way it's not on paramount plus
