Sky sports+ tennis

Nothing has improved since last year and the coverage is even worse. The odd lag every ten seconds is very frustrating. The zen me is grateful that Sky only has one slam and that I have tennis TV, but the me that pays the absurd Sky Sports subscription fee is very angry. Having emailed repeatedly over the last year I know it doesn't matter and that Sky doesn't care that I am unhappy and nothing will change. Just adding a voice to the dissonance.

Looks like the same abysmal coverage by Sky & Now TV. Absolutely no full replays apart from one of their choosing- the Gauff match. So the biggest matches of the US open take place in evening/night and can't be watched in the UK because of time difference.Previously all full match replays were immediately available on other platforms . Absolutely horrific. I don't know why Sky got the rights to Tennis, they are decimating the coverage in the UK!

I imagine in this case they offered United States Tennis Association Inc. a suitable sum of money, just as they did with ATP Media and WTA Ventures after Amazon decided not to renew.

It's perhaps worth noting that for those organisations, UK broadcast rights aren't particularly significant.

Follow up from my previous post regarding the freezing of the picture stream on Sky Stream puck I found that if I adjust the picture resolution in settings to a lower resolution ie from UHD settings it's working fine with no skipping in the video stream allowing me to watch a match 👍

Scratch my previous post it's still happening I'm getting freezing every now and then as before I thought it was TV resolution but no it's the fault of Sky transmission Sorry if anyone changed their TV settings

It's definitely a sky issue, it's been happening since the sky sports launch but it's  even worse since the US open has started. Other people has complained about it also happens on the football streams. 

  It's so frustrating and you would've thought sky would've thoroughly tested it before the launch.

   Never had any issues on Amazon prime or discovery plus.

Such hard work watching the tennis. Evans match starts on a channel, then it goes to red button, then kicked out of stream and its back a channel again.

And thats if you are lucky enough to be in the house when its on...if you not its tough luck isnt it Sky? 🙄

Dan Evan's in an amazing match at the US open. Wins the third set and the match stops showing and isn't on the list of matches to select. Sky this is a grand slam, the best of 5 sets for men. It's like not showing a footie match after half time. Dan Evan's playing the match of his life. We should all get our subscriptions refunded and Dan offered a huge apology and prime time airtime in future.

Today coverage of grand stand korda match not existing,  streams are changing in the middle of matches, it's a disaster, no replays, 

I watched tennis for years on amazon prime and I miss it very much !

Sky is also ending livestreams before the match is finished,  i would like to know why, this is the most frustrating coverage i have ever seen,  shame on you sky !

- Where are you watching this (Sky+, Sky Q, Stream, Glass etc)

- Content you're watching

- Exact time/date stamps

- What issue are you seeing

This helps us feed specific issues back to the support teams 🙂

I'm glad I just signed up on here as I was going to bite the bullet and get a Sky Sports subscription just for the tennis. I'm in the UK so can't watch all the matches live BUT it looks as though other than watchng live there are several minjutes of highlights for a handful of matches.
I was still thinking, at least you can watch any live match when you're about but it appears that the broadcast may stop part way through matches so not even getting a full match. This is what I was reading last year but hoped it would be sorted by now. 😞

Ive not experienced streams stopping before matches has finished but what I have experienced is constant freezing on every stream as many others have had also which makes matches unwatchable at times so you're definitely better off not subscribing.

so far today streams are slightly better though with just the occasional freezing so I hope it stays that way
