Re: Has Sky lost all NFL content

It seems at the moment NFL and SKY don't have an agreement to show NFL from 2025 , I'm hoping a new contract is being discussed as if they don't then that's me done .. I've been a fan for 40 years and I'm sure I'm not the only one to say that it would be a disaster for the NFL and it's fan base in the UK if we loose SKYs coverage

Re: NFL coverage going forward

Yup, I joined Sky 22 years ago because of the NFL; it is the only reason I pay for my subscription. If they lose the NFL, then I'll get my broadband and TV somewhere cheaper.

Re: Has Sky lost all NFL content

I'm out of contract at the moment, if we have no NFL then I don't want to sign up for sports either. It's a 24 month contract they're trying to tie me to!!

24 months is now the standard for both subscription television and broadband in the UK.  RoI has legislation requiring 12 month terms.

Re: Has Sky lost all NFL content

the podcast isnt as good as the show..much better watching the guys interact.

@Garyb0161

There is nothing confirmed for next season. We are all in the same boat, No one knows and if anyone knows, they probably couldn't say anything because they would have a Non Disclosure Agreement and it would be a breach of contract.

Nothing is confirmed.

My own guess (only a guess) is Sky are still in the hunt for the rights as they have managed to get those short term extensions (which keeps pft on the schedule), they broadcasted the draft, so

NFL need to decide the rights.

Is sky renewing its NFL contract for 2025 and onwards ?

Sky has removed all it's NFL content from the schedules.

I'm aware that GMFB and The Insiders are off for 2 weeks and Pro Football Talk isn't back on air until July 28.

Can anyone shed any light on whether Sky intends to continue its partneship with the NFL or is it over.

There has been no announcement ( as far as I am aware ) either way.

Thanks.

Anyone with insight on the matter will be NDA'd until a public announcement is released.

Sky had a 5 year deal up to the end of the recent season.

Sky have got several extensions (this kept pft and other shows on it)

Nfl really need to make an agreement  and announce something.

Re: Sky nfl coverage from 2025

I thought I'd bring this back up again it appears a American Football 🏈 tab has appeared on the list of sports TNT Sports showing on the discovery ️ app, so it looks like TNT Sports have either bought the rights to college football or NFL whilst nothing as been confirmed as of  yet it we shall see how this plays out.
