Sky VIP Viewing Platform at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Hi, 

2 years ago when I went to Goodwood FOS, there was a Sky VIP Viewing Platform that you needed to have pre-booked a time Via the app prior to the event. Is there going to be a viewing platform this year? And when on the app can I book my time slot?

I'd guess as this is on this week from 11th July to 14th July, there isn't one this year.

you used to be able to find and book it on the VIP app. I've searched over the past few weeks and it's not there so I'm guessing not for this year.

I have confirmation from sky VIP that it's not bookable through the app this time. It may still be accessible on the day although they were unsure of the details!

So how do we gain access to the lounge it you can't pre-book? First come first served!!!

I wanted to give my son an extra treat for his birthday.

I went to goodwood this year, there was a sky area, this is what has brought me to this page to find out how to get vip next year.

I went and found the Sky platform. What a disaster! They are not doing pre-booking, you just have to turn up and wait for a space. Problem was, the staff tried to move people on after about 45 minutes so the people waiting to get on, they wouldn't. Apparently some people got quite abusive.  I don't know why they changed it. It worked perfectly well pre-booking and having a timed slot. Hope they change it for next year.

You just had to get in the line and go up there. There was no booking. There want much up there, no seats this time. The free gift was a goodwood programme and a radio, which we already had!

Really? we went up there twice over the weekend, stayed for a bit, but it wasn't as good as previous years as very small and no proper seats. We got some free programmes for our friends, as we had already bought them with the tickets, but there wan't much to stay up there for. Good to see into the F1 paddock, but no real view. Surprised people refused to leave?!
