Sky Stream F1 Las Vegas Practice 2 cuts off before end

I know the F1 has been delayed today but practise 2 cuts off with 1hour and 15mins left to go.  You would think someone would monitor this. When i signed up the agent promised me i'd be able to watch F1 just like i'd recorded it. Any idea where i can find it?

What is the point of watching 2 1/2 hours of build up to Free practice 2 only for the scheduled recording from SKY to finish 10 minutes before the actual session starts ?

I know there were delays in Vegas but the whole idea of Sky is to never miss a thing.

Well youve missed the most important piece of the coverage, the cars driving round the track

With any live sports event, be it practice or the actual race, it's always wise to set the following programme to record as well as there are frequent inevitable delays.

But thats not really the point of SKY Q is it 

The whole idea is that as things change so does the epg, hence the logo 'Sky Never Miss a Thing'

Sky are always ready to blame the likes of ITV/BBC/TNT when things overrun and the recording stops before end of an event. But cant even achieve this themselves

F1 Commentary team kept saying were here for you guys and will stay here to bring you the practice session 2. Only for Sky to not change the end of the programme. Wonder how they feel as well and how many people did watch it live

As usual, the system seems to be unable to cope with the unexpected: we've raised this with Sky elsewhere.

I think they are repeating the practise broadcasts so try playlisting the repeat showing and that may give you the full session.

If it helps, recordings didn't work either, so technically the agent was correct.

 Cripes. This is my first week with Stream after moving from Q. If the qualifying and race don't work properly over the weekend my hubby will be mad. It was my idea to get Stream and I don't watch F1. I researched beforehand and it seemed the F1 problems had gotten a bit better. Obviously not 🙁

The issue is just due to the sessions being delayed and the EPG not being appropriately updated. This has happened a lot historically and affects F1 due to the nature of occasionally large pauses which most sports don't have. Providing there are no ridiculously long red flags during qualifying or the race the Stream recording should be fine.

In fairness my Sky Q box didnt record FP2 either.  I caught the last 40 mins but it was listed as Free Practice 1 and when I tried to record the rest it failed saying it could not be recorded.

Ended up watching the 10 ish min highlights on F1TV instead.

So for how much sky is you would think they could get some one to update the sky guide when there is a delay or an event over runs. 

I tried to record FP1 and 2 of the vegas Grand Prix but as FP2 was delayed and was delayed early why was the guide not updated to reflect this. I ended up skipping all the way to end to find out I had none of FP2 actually recorded. 

This sorting of thing is making me want to cancel my subscription
