Sky Sports no commentary option
I post this only in a desperate, hopeless and inevitably futile desire that someone at Sky Sports sees it and saves us from another season of inane drivel, constant self congratulation and mindless hyperbole:-
Please, please, please provide us with a no commentary, stadium sounds only option for sporting events.

Re: Sky Sports no commentary option
Personally I'd hate that but it's a personal choice. I can only suggest you email the Viewer Relations Team to put your point of view over at viewerR@sky.uk

Re: Sky Sports no commentary option
@FootPH1 I personally like the commentary but understand the option to have or not have would be good. The only thing about commentators I don't like, is they seem to feel the need to live up to their job title and cannot seem to bare a few moments of silence without having to fill it with something.

Re: Sky Sports no commentary option
@FootPH1 this will never be allowed to happen - they pay these talking heads enormous amounts of money to know better than you and I, but I'm with you. Certain 'pundits' on certain sports really, really grate on me. To the point I have to mute the sound whenever they start going on like they do. A clean, atmospheric audio only feed would be bliss.

Re: Sky Sports no commentary option
Didn't Amazon Prime Video offer this option on their package of games when they had the rights or am I misremembering?

Re: Sky Sports no commentary option
It is an option for those with surround sound tv. (5.1 audio etc).
You switch off (or turn down) the centre channel and the commentary has gone but stadium noise is still there.
