Who knows - I guess we will find out 😀.
i know for the Apple App Store Apple have sometimes been slow at approving new app updates which is why for some apps I've seen android new versions get released sometimes up to 24 hours before it gets released on the Apple App Store.

There's nothing to update as it's already in place - there will just be more simultaneous events listed than there are now.
If you already use the Sky Sports app, you'll do the same thing by going to the "Watch" menu.

hi so this afternoon i noticed that sky added a sky sports app to my sly stream, i believe this is going to be part of the sky aports + as the layout is what we have seen in screen shots and video about the sky sports + HOWEVER there a few things wrong with it already, currently tennis is live now and im watching it, it all in slow motion, and the its jumps. nothing to do with my internet as tc channel are fine ( again im using sky stream)
have sky acutally done test on this sky sports app? it appears to me they havent, it like im watching a dodgy stream. im not impressed, going forward it, the EFL season starts on Friday night and i hope they have ironed out the issues im facing with the tennis.

All seems ok now with the Michelson match
Have watched a number of matches as brief tries and longer views. So far they all played out well on Sky Stream ( apart from the above) and through the Android app on my Google Pixel and on my iPad.

Well that's because the Sky Sports + app has replaced the red button functionality ( as pressing that button on a supported programme will open the Sky Sports + app) so yes all the F1 red button content would be moving over to the Sky Sports + App.

In the Apps section (on Sky Q anyway) they are sequenced haphazardly....you would have thought that Sky would have wanted their two apps at the very start...these slots are taken by Amazon Prime and BBCiplayer. I doubt if us punters can re-arrange this sequence, like we can with channels via 'Favourites'?

It'll be interesting to see how far behind real-time will matches on SS+. Probably at least a minute. This is where Satellite beats Streaming hands down every time.

Well the investment has been going into low latency streaming technology to bring that gap down. (https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Sky-TV/Entertainment-OS-1-2-on-Sky/ba-p/4632342#:~:text=Sky%20Sports%20....)

On the home page (not the Apps section) if you scroll down about 5 times you will see apps listed in the order of last use. Each time you open an app it goes to the front of the list.

There has been no indication of any form of catch up with this @Garryveasey

The Sky Sports + app is replacing the red button service and there has never been a recording system available for that service when its delivered by internet streams.
I'd suspect there would be the short couple of minutes highlight packages available for some of the content on the Sky Sports + app.
Hopefully this functionality to record appears at some point in the future.
