Why are Sky News obsessed by reporting the numbers of deaths due to the Turkey Earthquake, they are reporting multiple times a day. We know it is bad but do we need to know the eact number that often

I've had to filered out the tweets because they are getting too much

This seems very typical behaviour everytime a disaster occures 😞

I'm afraid all the news channels that I have seen do the same @Annie+UK 

Remember the obsession with daily deaths during the pandemic (seem to remember CNN had a permanent death counter on the corner of the screen for ages 🙁)
