Anyone know when Season 12 The Curse of Oak Island - When will this be on?

Never watched it but the Geektown website suggests they normally start in January so you may have a few months to wait yet. 

If you go into the Geektown website and search for that (or any other programme you're interested in) you can sign up for free emails that provide information on first airings in the UK which arrive about 7-10 days before it first airs. There is nothing currently showing for series 12.

Several websites report that series 12 starts on the History Channel on 12 November, but I suspect that is USA only.... I seem to recall last year same thing happened and we didn't get it until January...hope I am wrong about the latter element.

Its always Jauary in the Uk which seem stupid when you can watch it on You Tube from the American start date with then drops the viewing figures down in the UK .

Postponing the release date of The Curse of Oak Island and other US shows for UK viewers makes little commercial sense. My elderly father is interested in the show and talks to me about his frustration in not being able to see the show the same time as US viewers.

• The US History Channel season 12 episode previews (shown on other popular video streaming platforms) will always result in lower initial viewing figures for UK audiences.
• The world is a small place. Friends and relatives living in NA often share the latest highlights in conversation months before UK-based viewers have had the opportunity to catch up. 
• The practice of delaying screenings is frustrating and has the effect of making people research alternative solutions to obfuscate their IP addresses/location and potentially impacting SKY's revenues. 
• The fact that 'SKY History' hasn't yet published UK screening dates is painful.

Couldn't agree more....this continuing practice of delaying UK showing prompts frustrated fans to seek out other viewing platforms in order to see the latest series.

There can be no financial advantage in delaying these days.

Seems like it didn't air on 1st Jan, or on 8th Jan and not scheduled for 15th Jan either, and still not available on demand.

Never mind, S13 will probably air in the US before we get to see if they find any more nails and bits of wood in S12.

Season 12 is NOW available on Sky and Now TV . 

It didn't start 1 January, think it was released in UK on 4 January.
