You've made 3 posts in 8 minutes on this thread but as you haven't tagged the name of the person you're responding to (by using the @ symbol) it makes the thread very difficult to follow.

I signed up to TNT yesterday and still only have access to 3 matches at a time, no catch up or replay. The TNT app does not show matches only highlights and no matches on Discovery. Cancelling SKY as what am i paying for!
Not sure where you are looking @Brendan1905
As you can see from mine, sports tab option does not come up in ireland
Some sports documentaries are available (and giro highlights as these are on Quest too) but live sport, no.
The Premium Sports on Discovery plusis not available in Ireland, as tnt sports is distributed with Premier Sports currently.

Hi @gaylyons if you have subscribed to TNT through Discovery+ have you clicked on the Disovery+ app to watch TNT or are you trying to use the channel select for TNT on Sky?

Re: Roland Garros 2025
FYI . Discovery+ Sport is not available in Ireland. So TNT referring customers in Ireland to watch it on Discovery+ does not fly. They quite frankly can't be bothered to provide the same Roland Garros coverage to users in Ireland.
Sub cancelled and never coming back after this debacle.

For the tennis, having the full Sky Sports package is irrelevant as it's not on Sky Sports.
For the cricket, having the full Sky Sports package means you can view it on Ch 412

Re: Roland Garros 2025
It is relevant having sky sports because there is a dedicated Tennis Channel but sadly as we've all commented it doesn't include the French Open.

The current WBD-FFT contract for European rights signed in summer 2021 (by what was then Discovery Inc.) covers the 2022-2026 events. No other platform gets even an option until bidding opens for the 2027 tournament and beyond.
https://www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/article/discovery-inc-awarded-exclusive-rg-multi-platform-rights
It's also perhaps worth noting that 2024 is the first year of a half-billion pound WBD deal for a decade of Roland Garros rights in the USA.

Re: Tennis on sky sports
But the grand slams are similar to the football cup final race - the matches tennis fans are most keen to see. If this had been the case a years back we would have missed the most important matches by the Big Four.
Instead of Roland Garros currently, Sky is showing tennis in Hobart, Australia.
Please tell me I not alone in my disappointment at the change.

Sky have never had rights to show Roland Garros (or Wimbledon for that matter). So in terms of your Sky Sports subscription nothing has changed.
The company that does have the rights to it has chosen to move it to a payable subscription channel, presumably to recoup some of the outlay.
As far as comparing it to the "football cup final" - also not on Sky Sports.

Back before international sports turned into a multi-billion dollar business, finalists took home millions of dollars and widespread access to online distribution became a thing?
As I've noted elsewhere, the French Tennis Federation has very happily taken half a billion pounds off TNT for a decade of exclusive RG coverage in the USA.

Re: No access to Paris tennis Open with Sky Essential TV package
Same here.. we just signed up to Sky Sports assuming tennis like French Open included and feel completely scammed. Really sucks.

@jonnoprice The changes Warner brothers discovery made by merging Eurosport content into TNT sports applies to uk and Ireland only, the coverage in the rest of Europe remains unaffected hence why family in Italy are unaffected by the changes
again nothing to do with Sky
