Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHave been watching loads of the live events since Saturday.
Must admit the two Eurosport linear channels and the Discovery + app coverage has been excellent.
Found it so easy to use on my Sky Stream and today making good use of Sky Go and the Discovery+ app on the garden patio in 32c temps this afternoon.
The Eurosport and Discovery+ commentary across the many events has been faultless, as is the Eurosport morning prep shows. All very enjoyable, knowledgeable and adds so much to the great sporting achievement.
Best event so far was that mountain bike Cross country final yesterday.
Well worth watching the full two hours of it on the Discovery+ app (not the highlights), was just excellent close racing from beginning to end. If you love your sport, you will love that.
I will certainly give it a second watch.
Other events that have been good viewing so far;
Canoe Slalom, diving, archery and swimming.
Do find it wrong to have football, tennis and golf in the Olympics, even though I love those sports at other times. Kind of spoils the tradition of the olympics for me, which is more in my view to have those sports we often do not see/watch through the year to give them their big limelight.
Of course, next week brings all the many types of athletics events, which is always a good watch, no matter what sport you follow.
Only sport I find that is just weird and tedious is the indoor Cycling.
Gave up on that after a few quick watches years ago. Even though we often seem to do well in it, it's not for me and will be giving it a miss.
Much the same as road cycling, just find it such a bore to watch.
The triathlon will be interesting ( the swimming and running bit) to watch in the delayed run tomorrow, with the thrown in sewage filled Seine, hold your breath...
So far, our team has done us all proud, let's hope that continues.

Have to say the discovery plus/eurosport coverage has been fantastic. It's the best channel to watch the Olympics. Excellent how one can choose what you want to watch

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe Mixed Relay Triathlon was a really great addition to the Olympic, introduced in Tokyo.
The shorter elements & being a relay involving 2 men & 2 women per team really gives a different dynamic
I am really enjoying this omce again in Paris.

I love my Sport, but this is just not, it's got to be down at the bottom of my list of to never watch such nonsense again.
Much like we have the excellent board events in the winter Olympics, the skateboarding is incredible.
I remember having one in the 1970s, such fun for a kid.
You realise having tried it, how skillful these guys are.
I notice the cameramen are using long flexible extensionarms to following the action. Doing a cracking job too.
I'm sure they must become so dizzy after hours of this, haha!

Seems like great achievement from Team GB and hoping for further medals. I do agree with others that the event has too many sports now. Football, golf, tennis, skateboarding, rock / wall climbing amongst others. I know we have to move with the times, but one doesn't change world cups etc
If I had to choose a highlight this year, it would have to be team GB in the ladies 4 in the rowing winning at the line. The mixed relay in the athletics is a good idea. Have also loved the equestrian, and now the indoor cycling
Well done again to the coverage from discovery plus and Eurosport. What a great advert you guys have produced and thank you to Sky for being able to have it all, particularly discovery plus premium. This is channel is far better than the alternative
