Here are a few steps that may help:
Is your router blocking adverts?
If your router is a standard Sky, EE, Virgin router, this is unlikley the issue. If you're using a third-party router, this may be the issue. You will need to follow the manufacturer's instructions to set the default DNS, or remove advert blocking.
Is your network settings blocking adverts on your Sky device?
On Sky Q:
- Press the HOME button
- Scroll to SETTINGS and press SELECT
- Scroll the SETUP and press SELECT
- Select NETWORK and press SELECT
- Scroll the ADVANCED SETTINGS and PRESS SELECT
- Beside IP SETTINGS, select SET MANUALLY
- Look at the IP ADDRESS, for example 192.168.0.7 (The last number can be anything from 2 to 254)
- Scroll to DNS SERVER and ensure it's similar to the IP ADDRESS, like 192.168.0.1 - but with a 1 at the end.
The first three numbers (192.168.0.x) must match the IP address. If your IP address starts with 192.168.1.x, ensure the DNS SERVER is 192.168.1.1.
I would expect these settings to be similar for Sky Glass and Sky Stream.
If neither of these works:
Reset apps (Sky Q):
- Scroll to SETTINGS, but do not press anything here.
- On your remote press 0 0 1 SELECT
- Scroll to APPS and press SELECT
- Select REFRESH APPS and follow on-screen
This will sign you out of all apps. Wait around 1 hour before signing in again to an app.
Turn off Sky device:
- Turn off the Sky device by the remote.
- Unplug the device from the wall socket
- Wait 5 minutes
- Plug it back in
- Wait for Sky device to initialise.

Try these and let us know if these fix your issue.
