Vue have a 20% market share in uk with 92 cinemas in uk.

Other cinema chains may have commercial arrangements with other companies ie I know in ireland Vodafone link up with odeon for free Tuesday tickets.

Cineworld meanwhile having biggest share in uk with 27% but have had well known financial difficulties going into I think examinership a few time (with Vue looking to take over some of their cinemas) showing the overall difficulties of the cinema sector.

Then there is the practical issue of sky trying to negotiate with various cinema providers for discounted tickets. It is impractical

Re: Paramount Plus 4k option for Sky customers?

Although I have sky Q I am a VIP member and was given Paramount plus for 12 months free recently I noticed it had gone off so I've checked online and it's happened to a lot of people I have a Samsung TV and sky Q is just an app on the TV and I didn't notice with the line of apps at the bottom of the screen that NOW TV was there I'd already subscribed to NOW TV and I was offered Sky cinema for six months for £3-99 so I took this up now I can watch the sky cinema cheaply instead of paying £13 to Sky where there's a will there's a way Sky charge enough anyway
