@Fehmida__

Sky+ or Sky Q?

What have you done about it in all that time?

@Fehmida__ error 25 sounds like a Sky+ error associated with no satellite signal.

You probably have already, but if not, try restarting your Sky box.by switching off at the plug for at least 4 minutes.

If the error persists, the cause is most likely a fault with your dish or cables. Unfortunately Sky no longer provide engineer support for Sky+ equipment unless you have Sky Protect, so you'll need to contact a local satellite engineer to take a look.

Alternatively now might be a good time to consider upgrading to Sky Q. Any dish or cabling issues will be addressed as part of the Sky Q installation at no additional cost to you.

To add to @Mark39's comment.

It's assumed  that @Fehmida__  is using either Sky+ (SD) or Sky+HD. It's possible that Sky, when required, are updating satellite frequencies internally for Sky Q only. As a result, Sky+ and Sky+HD boxes may still be using outdated frequencies and are therefore unable to receive those channels via the EPG.

@Fehmida__, if you're able to, try adding a channel that you're missing via the "Add channels". It might be available.

To do this:

  1. Press the Services button on your Sky remote.

  2. Use the arrow keys to go to the “Options” menu (sometimes labelled as "Settings" depending on the box version).

  3. Choose “Add Channels” (this is usually option number 4).

  4. You'll now see a screen to input satellite tuning details:

    Frequency (GHz)

    Polarisation (H or V)
Symbol rate (often 22.0 or 27.5)
    FEC (e.g. 5/6 or Auto)
  5. Enter the tuning details of the channel(s) you want to add.

  6. Press the yellow button to Scan.

  7. A list of available channels on that transponder will appear.

  8. Highlight the ones you want and press the yellow button again to store them.

You can find tuning details from external sites below:

Yes. I'm fully aware. But "every channel" may only be the channels OP watches or favours. There's no confirmation that the OP actually literally started at 101 and went up to 0141, one by one. The answer I provided is one answer.

If you disagree, you may add your own version of trying to fix the error. More than one answer with multiple solutions are better than one answer and solution that may or may not fix the issue.
