No access to TNT Sports following switch from Discovery+ to HBO Max

Have Sky TV, and had access to TNT Sports content via Discovery+. Received email from Sky stating "HBO Max is now part of your Sky TV subscription". Followed email instructions and activated HBO Max through my TV. Now don't have access to TNT Sports. If I click on any sports content in HBO Max, states "Unavailable with your current plan" and states to get access I need to "Log in to your sky account via sky.com/mysky/tv". So, I have no idea if I should still have access to TNT Sports folowing switch from Discovery+ to HBO Max and, if I should, no idea how to access it. Any help would be appreciated!

Did you login to HBO Max using the same login details that you use for Discovery+ ?

Thanks. No. Followed the Sky instructions. Opened up HBO Max app on my TV where asked if i wanted to continue with my Sky login email and I said yes. Then sent me a code to verify my sky login email and then asked me to enter a new password (didn't request my discovery+ password which is associated with a different email that I originally used to setup my Discovery app account). Got access to some content on HBO Max, but not the content I want (TNT Sports that I had before).

@RT25 that's your issue, if you are paying sky for your TNT sports then when you signed up for the entertainment tier of hbo you needed to have used the same email address that's associated with discovery plus in order for the connection to be made

I haven't been paying Sky anything for TNT sports - included in free subscription to Discovery+ provided by Sky (in same way that I now have free subscription to Disney+).

TNT Sport wasn't included in the free Discovery+ content provided by Sky.

Perhaps you got it via a packaged bank account or a packages mobile contract? But it's extremely unlikely that Sky gave it away considering it costs £30+ a month.

Thanks for message. All I know is that (1) I had access to TNT sports content as of a few days ago when received the email from Sky about HBO Max and then signed up; and (2) I haven't paid one penny for TNT Sports. I have EE and haven't got a TNT Sports add-on. Also received some messages from people saying they are experiencing same problem. When you click on "get access" to specific TNT sports content in HBO app, states "Log in to your sky account via sky.com/mysky/tv" to get it.

It was why I moved from BT. I also am pretty sure that I signed up with HBO using same email address as for SKY & Discovery.

We ( my wife and I) subscribed to Sky discovery plus and using my wife's email log in and password. At the same she is currently has a subscription to TNT Sports with EE (but accessed through Sky Discovery plus) and the arrangement ran smoothly until the switchover from Discovery plus to HBO Max on 26th March. I followed the advice on Google to log in to HBO using my wife's email login and password on 26th and was able to access TNT SPORTS along with other content and made up a user name etc from HBO and thought that was the end of it. On toggling the HBO APP again on 31st March on our smart TV I wad asked to 'get HBO MAX' on screen although I could access TNT Sports but NONE of the other content this time. Simultaneously received an email from Sky giving me a link to access the HBO MAX app via MY email login and password. Tried logging in in an attempt to access all the HBO content (hopefully including my wife's TNT Sports subscription). Yesterday I called Sky customer support who recommended I log in using my wife's email login and password. Tried using the voice button on the Sky remote and various attempts via the email from Sky on by iPhone. At the third or fourth attempt was getting the warning message and triangle so now I'm at a loss. Went on the HBO app which was asking me to log into my account. Don't know which to use mine or my wife's. Furthermore received a welcome email from HBO today addressed to MY email address indicating had successfully accessed content on the app? but don't know whether my wife's TNT Speports has been overridden? I'm at a loss, please help.

None of it makes any sense & nobody on this forum seems to have a clue as to how we resolve a problem totally caused by Sky.

it is truly disgraceful.
