Re: No 4K for Euro 2024 & Champions League Final...

hi

It is HDR 1080 only as confirmed by bbc

no UHD coverage for euros .

HDR is a better picture but

the sky puck is very delayed for bbc itv coverage so "normal" tv is needed otherwise you get updates on your phone from friends etc before seeing it happen lol

It is BBC iPlayer that has the massive delay rather than the Sky kit.

Please compare bbc1 & itv on freeview compared to sky stream its is quite a bit delayed.

i know Streaming will always be behind the traditional digital broadcast and usually isn't a big deal except for live sport.

Sky Q is very close to "normal" broadcasts but sky Stream is miles behind

The High Def BBC 1 stream, which you have to press the red button for, is being delivered by IPlayer is it not? therefore it would have the same delay as any streaming platform.

The standard HD stream via BBC 1 for the moment on freeview will of course we ahead as they are being delivered via DTT broadcast and not internet streaming,
