I think the problem is that nfl have not yet agreed rights going forward for the nfl.

For pft, as they show footage of nfl games, if sky don't have the rights for nfl games, then they can't show PFT

It is a pity that the nfl have not finalised the rights in uk yet for 2025.

To keep pft, sky have twice got extensions in March and earlier this month7.

Re: NBC’s Pro football talk

Absolutely gutted!!

Notice it's not on this evening, have they finished it early?

Does anyone know if there is anywhere this can be watched in the UK in its entirety, other than small chunks on YouTube?

thanks.

Re: NBC’s Pro football talk

This is bloody ridiculous, it's typical of money grabbing by the NFL , Sky show the NFL so what's the issue?? I am really annoyed about this ☹️

@Harryj The issue is sky's contract to show NFL has expired, and there is no current indication that the contract has/is being renewed

Re: NBC’s Pro football talk

We are gutted too. I won't renew with Sky if they don't have the NFL contract. I emailed Mike Florio but I bet 100 other people did too!

I'll just have to listen to the podcast or watch clips on youtube but it's not the same

Re: NBC’s Pro football talk

I just hope all parties see sense and get the contract issue resolved as quickly as possible. As others have commented if there is no NFL on Sky including PFT then you have to question the worth of the subscription.

Re: NBC’s Pro football talk

It is becoming clear that sky is losing the rights to NFL. This is the problem with PFT, as they often show clips from NFL content 🙄.

I too am about to shed sky and turn to streaming. DAZN game pass is 9.99/month and has heaps more content than sky on demand and live if you're a nocturnal.

PFT is available on nbc sports now for free (if you have a VPN).

Jobs a goodun!

be careful what you wish for

2 lousy years with DAZN. Useless service. Lost count how many times I could not connect to the game I wanted to match.

Does DAZN have Redzone?

Re: NBC’s Pro football talk

Looks like a new deal or at least an extension has been agreed as Pro Football Talk is back in the listings for next week.

The question is how long is this going to drag on for and how many extensions are they going to get (a cat only has nine lives)

Re: NBC’s Pro football talk

It appears that PFT is no longer in the listings after Monday 2nd June. Does anyone know if this a permanent arrangement?

Re: NBC’s Pro football talk

I believe they go on a suumer hiatus for circa 4 weeks. Basically, it is their annual leave taken when there just is not enough happening in the nfl to fill 2 hours every day.

@SimonC5866  No one knows at this stage, the NFL has still not announced a new tv contract for the uk, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another extension
