I've checked in with our Viewer Relations team. As has been mentioned, they can confirm that the remainder of the series will air in March.

Thank you very much for clearing that up Kev. It is a very long gap between episodes though - which does spoil the enjoyment of it , as well as the continuity.

Knowing that in the US programmes keep taking breaks, I nearly always wait until an entire season has been made available here in the UK before I start to watch it. That way I don't need to worry about the breaks in screening. This is what I'm doing with Matlock. Nice to know that it sounds like a good series though.

Yep, I totally understand the frustration @TriciaK44
I've not watched it myself, from how busy this thread has been (the amount of page views), it looks popular!

Its VERY easing watching Mr Ripley and unlikely to tax the grey cells. Its definately not John LeCarre more like a copy of the Sun compared to the financial times

That's pretty appalling. No comment to subscribers. I can see why people are cancelling

It's now becoming increasingly frustrating as I'm having to avoid spoilers - even headlines are giving away nuances of the story line. Sky UK get your act together. We need to be up to speed. Why are we paying for a second hand service!! Please start running the new episodes.

Sky are holding it back because there will more breaks in the US after episode 15 since episode 18 isn't likely to air until May
The way Sky are airing it , episode 18 will air on 13th May,
If anything Sky might push back the return date of 11th March

Thanks for the update. To be honest Matlock (imo) is very ordinary and very formulaic , its definately not a "page turner" in its plot line and the break in the episodes only further pushes the viewer to look for other, often better alternatives to view. There are much better productions on Paramount+, Netflix and Prime now taking over my viewing time to the extent I have totally lost interest in Matlock. To be honest I am thinking of cancelling my Sky subscription.

Frankly I doubt I will bother with it even when it re-surfaces now as I've forgotten what's gone on. I also read there is to be another break from March to May when it ends. Goodness me ! What is the problem with these productions?

It's pretty standard for US Network television which largely runs from September/October to May for most shows.
