Let down by Sky Sports

Sky Sports have now lost the contract for International Football, I am a Northern Ireland van and was able to watch away games on Sky.

First it was the Champions League, now International football. The price however stays the same, with less content.

Very poor Sky.

Comcast probably spent the money on poor quality TVs.

It's quite a considerable amount of football they've now lost with the international matches. People won't have noticed until now either.

@Nigel19076 I think they are losing NI games to Viaplay as well just to top it off.

I think it's Premier Sports until 2024 then it's Viaplay from 2024 in a 4 year deal.

I only noticed this yesterday when looking at the tv listings to see what games were on Sky Sports. Very disappointing to discover none are being broadcast and Sky have been very quiet about the fact they have lost the contract. A big loss but no reduction in price.

@David+PW  Why would they give a reduction, you are paying for a package of sports.  You're not being charged per event or type of sport.  And it is likely already covered in the  T & C's you have agreed to.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

You are being charged for a type of sport if you subscribe to the football-only channels, or the golf channel etc etc.

The package price will only be reduced following a major rights loss, as demonstrated in Italy.

@Timelord2018

Least it's been a bit more combined now with Viaplay buying Premier Sports maybe when it's fully sorted it will be a better company as Premier has always seemed a bit iffy.
