I miss Sky ONE... :)

We need nostalgia channels now, Sky is 35 years old, , 1989, it will be 40 in 2029... 🙂 Is Sky One = Sky Showcase  and Sky TWO =.Sky Atlantic(its named after the Atlantic Ocean that's between the Americas and the UK.so for USA TV programmes only, better then SKY USA.. 🙂 ).

I am not a lover of the channel naming (numbers are better(ITV1 and BBC1) like Sky Witness, that channel is just a copy of another channel(a Discovery Channel) and shows the same programs, and was some of the channels owned by Virgin Media, I remember the channels that were missing like Living, Sky must of bought them why its called Sky Living now, I remember when all the Discovery channels disappeared too, not happy with the money they were getting from Sky so maybe why duplicate channels now like Sky Witness.

Sky One became Sky Max. FYI Showcase is a channel which shows featured programmes from other Sky-branded channels - a kind of "the best of Sky" channel.

Sky Two became Sky Replay.

I'd love to see some nostalgia programming - Dream Team anyone?!

I think with the launch of HBO's Max service coming soonish, and with Sky bundling Max with Sky we might see a rebrand away from Sky Max to something else in the near future just to avoid confusion in the marketplace... maybe then your desire for it to be Sky One again will come true!

I am expecting changes to their entertainment channels as whole by 2026 considering they put Sky Atlantic in a lower base entertainment package in December.

Couldn't agree more, the only name that could work is Sky Entertainment, I don't see them going back to numbered channels.

You know Sky has problems when one of their UK commissioned  Originals is airing on both Sky Max and Sky Atlantic
