I am thinking of subscribing to SKY and I have 5 televisions in the house,

I am having Sky installed and would like to know if you need seperate boxes in each room .

also can you watch differant channels to each room.

No matter if you go with Sky Q (where you get a main box and mini boxes to put in the other room) or Sky Stream you get separate boxes for each room that you require which allows you to watch different channels in each of those rooms.

 

With Sky Q you would need a multiscreen sub  as this allows you 4 mini boxes however only three can be used to watch content at the same time: the main box and two Mini boxes.

 

With Sky Stream you can have 3 extra pucks for your other rooms as you would need the Whole Home package for this.

To watch Sky in different rooms, you'll need the Whole Home monthly subscription and a Sky Stream puck(s) or extra Sky Glass TV(s).

Watch on up to three Sky Glass TVs and six Sky Stream pucks at the same time.

 

With the Whole Home pack you can also watch on four devices at the same time on the Sky Go app and on your games console.
